1. Who we are
AlphaZ Games ("we", "us") is an independent game studio based in the Republic of Korea. We publish mobile games and operate the website at alphazgames.com. For anything in this policy, write to contact@alphazgames.com.
2. The short version
- This website has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no tracking cookies set by us.
- Our games are designed to work without an account. Optional features such as cloud save need an identifier so your progress can be found again.
- We do not sell personal data.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete data we hold about you at any time.
3. This website
The site is static pages served through Cloudflare. We do not set cookies, run analytics scripts or embed social media widgets. Cloudflare, as our hosting and network provider, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare's handling of that data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font, Google receives your IP address and the requesting page. See the Google Privacy Policy.
If you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as needed to answer and follow up, and then delete it.
4. Our games
No game from AlphaZ Games has been released yet. Before each release this section is updated with the exact list of data the game collects and every third-party service it uses. The categories below describe what our games are built to do.
- Game progress. Levels cleared, items owned, settings. Stored on your device. If you turn on cloud save, a copy is stored with Unity Gaming Services under a random player identifier, so that you can restore it on another device.
- Device and crash data. Device model, operating system version, game version, and anonymous crash reports, used to fix bugs and keep the game running on the devices people actually have.
- Purchases. If a game offers in-app purchases, the transaction is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive a receipt that confirms the purchase, not your payment details.
- Advertising. If a game shows ads, the ad network may use a device advertising identifier to limit repeats and measure performance. Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent first, and you can decline. The networks used will be named here when the game ships.
5. Why we process data, and on what basis
- To run the website and the games you asked for (performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in providing the service).
- To keep the service secure and fix problems (legitimate interest).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as keeping purchase records for tax purposes.
- For anything optional, such as personalized ads, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the game's settings or your device settings.
6. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the website and games, named in sections 3 and 4, and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by the provider.
8. Retention
Game progress stays on your device until you delete the game or clear its data. Cloud saves are kept while you use the game and deleted on request. Crash reports are kept for up to 12 months. Email correspondence is deleted once the matter is closed. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires.
9. Children
Our website and games are not directed to children under 13 (under 14 in the Republic of Korea), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email contact@alphazgames.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the Republic of Korea that is the Personal Information Protection Commission.
11. Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top is updated. For a material change that affects a released game, the game will tell you on next launch.
